Luxury Bathroom: Seamless Design with Italian Slabs and Custom Furniture
We present a project of an exclusive bathroom renovation, where luxury meets flawless execution and thoughtful functionality. The main goal was to create a refined and modern spa space using premium materials, custom solutions, and logical zoning. Special attention was paid to seamless design and the highest quality of finishing.
- High-Precision Slab and Tile Work: Flawless installation of slabs with mitered external corners (45 degrees) ensures a monolithic appearance. Particularly noteworthy is the perfect join between the thick Italian slab and the thinner wall tile, creating an absolutely smooth and flush transition between materials.
- Custom Niche: A horizontal niche, fully finished with the same slab as the walls, is perfectly integrated into the shower area, providing stylish and concealed storage.
- Shower System: A luxurious concealed shower system (including a “tropical rain” overhead shower and a hand shower on a bar) in a brass finish.
- Floor and Drainage: The floor throughout the bathroom is laid with large-format tiles in a neutral shade. The shower area features a modern linear drain with high-precision tile fitting.
- Bathtub Zone: A freestanding oval bathtub of modern design, complemented by an elegant floor-mounted mixer with a hand shower, all in a matching brass finish.
- Toilet: A modern floor-mounted toilet in white with a sleek design.
- Glass Enclosure: A spacious custom shower enclosure made of thick tempered glass (frameless) with a hinged door and hardware in a matching brass finish.
- Custom Furniture: A “floating” custom vanity unit with natural wood fronts with LED lighting, a minimalist design, and a white countertop. Two floating dark wood shelves matching the vanity are located above the bathtub.
- Mirrors and Lighting: Two large rectangular mirrors in massive wooden frames matching the vanity. Original light fixtures above the mirrors with multiple exposed bulbs. Recessed ceiling lights provide general illumination.
Design and Materials:
The interior design is built on a harmonious combination of luxurious textures: the smoothness of Italian slabs, the matte surface of large-format wall tiles, and the warmth of the natural wood furniture. Elegance and status are added by the consistent, luxurious brass finish used for all plumbing fixtures and hardware. The space feels bright, spacious, and tranquil, creating a home spa atmosphere.
Craftsmanship:
This project demonstrates the highest level of craftsmanship: from the complex work with large-format slabs and precise angle cuts to the perfect integration of the niche and, crucially, the creation of a flawless transition between the slab and tile of different thicknesses. Impeccable tile laying towards the linear drain and the custom fabrication of furniture and the glass enclosure also underscore the quality of work.
